Engineers and rugged defence

Post by AbeSimpson »

Hi!

Engineers can negate rugged defence, is this also true for bridge-engineers?
And where do I find such information, I did not find them in the manual.

Thanks for helping!
I think I understand what military fame is; to be killed on the field of battle and have your name misspelled in the newspapers.

No, bridging units don't have the same traits as engineers (fortkiller, meng in the equipment file) and so don't ignore entrenchment/avoid rugged defences. I'm not sure if a list exists anywhere but I used mgarrett's Equipment Editor to check the unit stats, or you can open data\equipment.pzeqp in something like Excel and check it.
