mult unit attack

HOw do I get multiple hexes to attack one hex. I tried using shift but no effect

Your right for using the shift key, but each unit involved must be able to make a determined attack, hasty attacks are only allowed from 1 hex to another.

Use the shift key select a unit then move the cursor over other units adjacent to the attacking hex and they should come up on the right.  However sometimes units that seem to have the right amount of MP's left come up for meeting the criteria but don't have the MP's to execute the attack.  This is usually when it comes to river crossings.
