Multiplayer system...

Post by Jupo »

When playing hotseat (/e-mail) game with friend in same side, it would be sometimes great to have possibility for other player to take control of land units and other one takes control of navy units.

So Navy Commander(admiral) could only move navy units (ships, planes, Marine troops etc.) and Land unit commander(general) could only move (land units, fortifications, airfields, land based aeroplanes, etc..)

So war results would be based on two players in same side.. how good they could communicate... Navy sending cargo ships to supply base and airfields and how could army/airforce commader support / protect supply convoys and give to army troops for defending / attacking missions what Navy commander would like to do or is able to do.

I have always wanted a multiplayer game where two players can play same side and consentrate diffrent parts of game.

Basically this can be done now in UV but main thing is that Navy commander would not be able to do Land/airforce orders... only move ships, do CV actions etc...

Same thing for Land/airforce commander.. he/she could only do Land/airforce actions, but not Navy actions.

You can do it now with UV.

The 2 players who are on the same side both know the password.

The player who goes second finishes by hitting the "End Turn" button.
