How long it takes for Allied aircraft assembly to upgrade?

Hi I'm at Feb 5, 1943 and two allied bomber lines should upgrade in Feb. I'm wondering how long it will take for those lines to automatically upgrade since there is no manual upgrade available for Allied.

P.S. A manual upgrade function for Allied players would be appreciated!

Not sure about the Allies, but for Japan if the upgrade is along the upgrade path it is instant.

I am not sure what you mean? If the unit is at a base with 25K supply(?) and all the criteria are met the upgrade now button highlights in yellow. Otherwise, with these conditions met and the pool has enough platforms to completely fulfill the unit and upgrades == on .. they will automatically upgrade. .. at least I found that to be true ..

Manual upgrades happen if you want to upgrade and not enough platforms will fill the unit so you go from say 12 bad planes to 2 good planes ...[;)]

I think he's asking about aircraft factories; these will upgrade sometime during the month, generally before the 15th in my experience.

The same applies for Japan, except that they can manually switch them from the 1st of the month if so desired.

Yeah it would be nice if Allied also get the upgrade manually options. Why only AFBs need to wait?

It is Feb 23,1943 now and my factories still don't convert to the latest model yet.

Anything need to be checked for allowing Allied in-map plane factories to upgrade?

I'm into March 43 now but still see no upgrade of my B-25C and B24D factories. The out dated B25C and B24D are still producing even their names are grey out already.

Is this a possible bug?

It sounds like one to me! That seems like just too long. Michael (who currently programs patches) had his PC crash and burn. I suspect the best way is to post a save game (along with as much info as you have copied into the same post) and see if Michael can look at it when he is back up and running.

If you can, post a save game so we can take a look. While it might be a bug, it might also be something subtle that someone might be able to spot.

I'm at Mar 3, 43 and my B24D just upgrade to B24D1.

This is not a bug, I guess it's just because I'm so unlucky...
