UBoats and naval attributes

Post by comsolut »

I looked over the strategy guide and it mentions coastal, patrol, and long range submarines for the Germans, but the build options are coastal submarine, submarine, and electric powered submarine. So I am assuming that submarine = patrol submarine and elec submarine = long range submarine (which seems odd since elec meant stealth not endurance in WWII).

Is there any actual data to compare like range, strength, firepower between these?

Same for other naval units.

Aren't all submarines electric when submerged, the range for surface cruising is dependent on boat size and the amount of fuel they can carry, bigger boats usually go further.
