wrong operations report date

I am working my turn and note the game date of 21aug43. However my operations report date is 18 aug43.

I am confused(normal condition).[;)]

Playing Allied in a PBEM there is a subtle trap: If you give the wrong password for the combat replay, it will provide what appears to be the proper replay, but the Ops Report and other reports do not update. If you just started the program, these reports are blank; however if you have played multiple turns or other games since starting the program, these reports will reflect the last valid combat sequence.

Now I discovered this the hard way after starting a new PBEM. At least half the time I would have to re-enter the password since I kept using the old password. That was fine for the save but that is the way I discovered that if you do the same thing with the password for the combat replay, you do not get a password error but instead get a seemingly valid combat but with old reports.

Not saying that is what is happening here, but that was my experience.

You are correct. I noticed my finger slip on the pass and added ] to the end by accident and then hit enter...I was surprised the game excepted my modified password.

I am also having another current problem which seems to be negative PP growth. Wondering if my password error is causing a game problem.

Check the ship and plane withdrawel reports to make sure that someone is not overdue to withdraw. The ground units leave automatically but it is easy to miss a ship withdrawel.

Please disregard post. My fault....looks like I had 3x sqn of a24 to w/draw which i did not see.
