second time for this post, short of it with the war is well north of Moscow and East of Stalingrad, and St. Pete speaking german, in april1941 the country of the Ukraine surrenders to russia? In short WTF? At this time there were no UK units there ,they were all off chasing russians.
Next month Rumanina surrenders to Russia, all the allied units in that country vanish as do the R units which were garrisoning most of the USSR.
I have no idea what is going on, I don't know if keeping your allies fully garrisoned would help or not, going to replay a section of this game to see if that helps.

As mentioned in other thread.
Ukraine became independent and Russia defeated them. Same with Romania.


Click U for Units, look under deployment. Your units were sent home after the loss of Romania.

how could russia defeat them, when the closest russian unit was over 1000 miles away?

I'm not pretty sure, what might happen. Could you please tell me do you have any save game from before this happen?

I will look for a saved game , is it possible that a sovit partsan unit was put in Kieve, I saw that red circle around kiave befor it surrendered. a bulgarian mech unit was in rumania for a couple of turns before it surrendered but not in a city, I did not see a red circle in rumania like I did in Kieve.
