Mod installation

Post by TomBombadil711 »

I have started a campaign with the original game. Now I have downloaded and installed the Großdeutschland mod. Is it possible to have this mod installed and continue with the original campaign at the same time?

I have also downloaded the Vietnam mod. The game starts fine but when I choose a scenario the game CD is requested. As I only have the Matrix download version I do not have a CD. Is it possible to play the mod without CD?

Thanks in advance.

I would assume that you need some maps for the Vietnam mod.

If the game can't find a file it thinks should be there (say, part of an operation or campaign, or a map) then it will ask you to insert the CD. If you install a mod and get this behavior, it means the mod is likely missing some files. You might check the mod itself for a readme or other documentation.

In Cross of Iron you cannot play the stock game and a mod at the same time. Once you install the mod it replaces (with back-up) the original game files.
