Air Strikes and weather

Post by doomtrader »

Please remember that weather heavily inflicts air strike' effectiveness.

Clear = 100
Snow = 33
Mud/Rain = 50

It seems moving Panzers should be vulnerable.. just a thought, perhaps if a unit is a spearhead... and thus "exposed" a plus on air attack effectiveness?

Well, that depends on how fast they are moving. If they only move at night they are pretty safe, but that ought to cut down on their total movement allowance since they'd only be able to move for 8 to 12 hours per day. Actually infantry moving on roads or by rail would be even more vulnerable than tanks.

If a unit is a spearhead, you can see it earlier, and usually then is also within a range of more of your tacts than the regular units following the spearhead.
