My First Campaign Promotion

After all the years of playing SPWaW, I finally earned a promotion in a long campaign. I had a defend mission against the Japanese in August 1942, and gained a decisive victory. I got bumped up from a Lt Col to a full Colonel, in my first battle. My 1/5 Marines did me well, suffering 230 casualties while inflicting 657.

I haven't played in a while, but I've been rewatching the Pacific miniseries DVD set, and decided to start yet another campaign. I'm not writing a DAR this time, though.
