OT: You know when you have been playing WITP:AE too long when...

As many of you know, I am a model railroader. Part of what we control the model trains in model railroading is called Digital Command Control (basically a square wave binary code through AC current in the tracks decoded by circuitry on board the locomotive). Well programming the decoders in the locomotives involves putting hexidecimal (hex) codes in different configuration values (CV).

I got this email subject the other day and thought about what the a Carriers value was based on the hex location they were in:

I sometimes have dreams whereby I'm plotting a turn, but for some reason the map is ten times bigger (number of bases etc) than the real one[X(]

I once threw away about $30 worth of groceries in the fridge because the expiration date on the food (month/day) was beyond the date in the campaign game I was playing. [:o]

I'll be number four (also a model railroader, also in N scale, good friends with the folks who actually invented DCC systems for model railroads).

Expiration dates should be game coded.

Use by. If you have to look, it has been too long. Or first sunk carrier. Of course alcohol is allowed to last longer.

Some times I wake-up in a cold-sweat, having just dreamed that KB has been sighted! [X(]

Reminds me of something I read in this forum once, that a guy was to scared to swim in the Sea, as KB might be lurking just over the horizon. [:D]

Nice tracks nashvillen. I am guessing you already play Transport Tycoon Delux. If not its available as a freeware run and maintained by the community and it is a vastly superior model to the vanilla version.

My lab comes down the stairs and groans and wiggles her bod. Then if no response she groans and nudges my elbow. Then if no response she barks in my ear. Then I turn and look at her in MUCH annoyance and say "I walked you yesterday!!!!" To that response she gives me a dirty look and barks again. Sigh.
