about Expansion Planner

Post by ergie »

Hi all, and happy 2012!
I dont know if this has been stated before, (sorry if it was) but I find tedious to find a resource manually looking on each system as the explansion planner hides the systems owned by another species. Would it be possible to add another checkbox to show in the planner other system than your owned and free? I mean, the decission to build a mining station in a foreigner system can cause a war, but its my call, Isnt't it?
Thanks

Exactly.  Also, trying to find where the precious 3 resources are is a huge PITA.

If you have Legends, I believe you must first declare war before you can build a mining station (or colonize a planet/moon) inside another empire's territory.

EDIT: Unless, of course, said empire has granted you mining rights.

You could use Galaxy Map (default key G) to look resourses, just chose resource view&resource and it show systems in yellow that contain that resource and clicking system show system map that have planet market in yellow that have resources you look
