ARGHHH...XP and Mega need help!!

Help....I have installed MegaCamp LV...with all the upgrades to ver 1.2
When I start the game everything goes great until I reach the first scenario screen...If I click on the Vebber unit its fine but as soon as I click on any other unit the game crashes and Im back at the SPWAW start screen....what gives???
I am running win XP Home version, on a DELL 2.0 GHZ machine with a Invidia MX 420 64 MB video card..onboard sound

SPWAW ver 7.0 runs perfectly and I have no problems with it...
any ideas? suggestions?

Are you running SPWAW version 7.1? What version is displayed in the first SPWAW screen? If not you need to update SPWAW to 7.1, there was a problem with Mega's and newer operating systems if your playing with Command and Control on in the preference screen. Check this first before I run down the entire troubleshooting steps.

Hi gmenfan,

I clicked off Command and Control and it ran perfectly....it seems to be the problem. I am running 7.0. will this problem be solved if I go to 7.1?

Yes it will, this was a major fix in the 7.1 build. So if your upgrade SPWAW to 7.1 you can play with C&C on without any problems.
