Interesting aspects of warfare not modeled in WITP

Post by AcePylut »

Was reading on Wiki, about Adm Tanaka.

"Tanaka had also fallen into disfavor with the I.J.N. High Command, hence on 29 December 1942, Tanaka was transferred to Singapore. In 1943, he was re-assigned to shore duty in faraway Burma, and he remained on shore duty for the remainder of the war."

What a waste of a great naval tactician, one I'm most thankful for.

Hehe, wouldn't it be great if you could use your PP's to "eliminate" an enemy leader? LOL.

The names - Bond - James Bond, I'll have that shaken, not stirred [:D]

Unfortunately we don't have the ability to ambush wayward Admirals on tours of the front lines either - the list of things this game can't do is long [;)]

In the stock game Tanaka will be made commander of the 13th Base Force once it arrives in late '43 and is stuck there unless you pay PPs to free him.
