How do i place battalions from hq to divisions?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

Someties the Support units 'just' moved into the HQ from a higher HQ, so they can't be sent on to Divisions. The division may be out of range, or that SU may have already been in combat, so it is ready to move into the new unit. I have completely given up on German SU management, set everything in the game to level 3, and forget about it. I have tried to get Karl, Theodore or whatever and the Sturm Pioneers and (etc.) into the Leningrad Assault Force or the Sevastopol Assault force etc. and failed every time. Having said that, some Axis Aces have seemingly mastered this so don't give up if that is how you want to play. Some Axis players start to sort SU related things out in the 41 mud, when they have a lot of APs and nothing to do operationally. Probably not much help, but I here ya.

Are you trying to attach support units to divisions?  Artillery, construction, labor, mortar, rocket, LW, and PVO type units can't be used like that.
