Invadeing Guadacanal

I just landed a very formadible force one HEX south east of the Jap Gcanal airfield. After several turns (days) of unloading, my force icon stays dark. I can observe thier strength, but I cant move them one HEX north west to attack. They just sit there. I checked thier supply and it is good.
What more do they need to become "active" or at least move and attack enemy next to them?

Do you own the hex you are in or is it showing as a Japanese base. If not attack it. Also, have all your transports unloaded all of the troops on board? You may not be able to move as long as units are not fully unloaded.
