Certainly, I'll take germans. I am non to familar with late war equipment so it may take me a bit to buy my forces as there will be a lot of looking over specs on my end :)

Slot 9 will do nicly. Random map

My my my , this is going to be very interesting thats for sure.

(for those just tuning into our show...)

Visability 5 (bad weather? I think)

Map is heavly forested north and south. There are two large cities on either side of the map, many roadways instersect all over the place. There is one predomenint clearing in the middle.

There are 2 main roads running E/W both going over hills , one in the middle one in the south.

The battle line start at a whoppin 250 yards from one another! (5 hex's) if that! it might be 200 I don't member.

This is going to be a blood bath.

On a side note late era stuff is expensive! I thought 7K was going to be alot but man I had to really penny pinch to get anything worthwhile.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out I had to get creative to find a balanced force at these prices.

Wow really wierd map... too many trees, too low visibility... you're right, this is gonna be one heck of a bloodbath.

And it has started as so...

My troops move forward to create the Main Line of Resistance.

The process cost me 3 M18 Hellcats and some M3 Scout cars. I destroy 3 or 4 SS and/or rifle squads using Quad .50 cals. My tanks can't see a **** thing!

Your turn :)

Too much fog!!

Luckily, all American tanks come standard with fog lamps heheehhe :D

Anyways, I blow up a platoon or so of your Tank Destroyers, destroy around 2 squads of infantry and force back around 2 or 3 more and half a dozen or so assorted armored cars.

I have a hole however on top of the line in the forest, where only an M4 is holding the line against a platoon of tank destroyers and some infantry.

Well you lost a couple things this turn. I admit I was unprepared for that initial tank charge of yours. Now the question will be if I can deal with it, with the equipment I have left.

Also I might add I am not used to germans that won't rally. All my commanders rally rating is 0 and these are SS troops! good heavens.

Chaos and Carnage everywhere...

I destroy 2 Tigers, a Pz-III or is it IV? and an armored car this turn. I also scatter a platoon of SS.

I'm overpowered in the middle however... Let's see what Hellcats can do to Tigers... :D

Where is my artillery!?!?!

Heh you killed my only 2 tigers it seems

Personally I don't think your as bad off in the middle as you think. In the south your kickin some tail. You north however is folding rapidly.

Definitly a lot of carnage out there. I personaly had felt I was in deep trouble with that inital tank charge of yours, however with you north flank completly exposed I may be able to salvage the situation.

I blew up 2 more of your tanks this turn, a StuG40 and a Mark IV with skirts.

The situation up north is not looking so good

But I challenge you to bring it on in the South!!!! hehehehehe :D

The middle is fairly stable for now... (where I blew up the 2 tanks)

The visibility really sucks, your infantry are able to sneak through all the **** fog!! :D

If my troops could shoot strieght in this fog I would have that north hill now

In the middle my troops keep up the good fight, one panther bites it , well crew bails.

In the south all is quiet....still waiting for you to come up that hill so I can tare those tanks apart.

Oh and I stumbled into some rocket batteries in your rear :D

Reinforcements are quickly heading north. My force there is greatly outmatched by a mixed platoon of Mark IIIs and StuG40s. A single Hellcat holds the north, trying in vain to destroy a StuG, but failing.

I'm holding solidly in the south and less solidly in the middle although there are no casualties this turn except for an immobilized Quad .50 half-track.

In the rear..... Grrrrrrrrrrr, I don't have the armored resources to spare and take care of your little armored cars!!! GRRRRR

Well a frustrating and suprising turn this turned out to be. I lost a flame car to a freaking sniper!! Well it's disabled but still

My armoured car thats left (one is running away) tore up a few more of your arty guys in the back, he was having so much fun a friend of his is on the way to join him :D You got a repreve back there as another armoured car that was en rout got imobalized in the middle of no where.

In the north I think things are turning really bad for you, I kill another tank (or 2 can't member), a jeep and turn back some joe's.

In the south one of my ATG's nails a tank, in a trade off I also lost a flame wagon (differnt one then above).

In the middle I am sure you can imagine my suprise when I stumble onto 3 tanks heading in a northern direction. One of them died.

Saw some big nasty arty fall at the end of my turn so don't know how happy my inf are going to be when I get back (god only knows they don't rally worth a darn in this year).

I have a fairly good turn this turn.

My HQ destroys the armored car in my rear VHes with grenades, a sniper destroys a flame half-track, a Quad .50 half-track destroys a 75mm artillery gun along with team, disperse a SS squad, and up north where the situation is desperate, the soldiers satchel charge a flampanzer III, forcing the crew to abandon the soon-to-explode tank :D

Situation north is still dire though.

Good greif what bloodshed. Americans strugle despertly to hold a foothold on the north hill. Taking down a flame pz.

In the middle big nasty things with machine guns (I call them tanks) hold the vh's while german inf make daring assaults on tanks and fail.

In the south some minor exchanges between AC's.

In the back 2 cars move in to take revenge for ther fallen friend.
