first winter.

Post by dontra85 »

i know that the germans take the casualties in the soviet blizard areas deliniated by X72 or X54 and Y95 but where does the x72 start and end and where does x54 start, also assuming that y95 is the cutoff then everything south of it should be safe. does anyone have a map anywhere that protrays what this looks like for units being put into refit status the first winter.

Basically, anything outside your initial start line they will get hammered.

If you want them safe, get them into cities, size 4 towns or all the way back to Germany/Poland

ok that is the easy answer. but there has to be a grafic that would preclude having to send units back that far.

I build a couple fort zones to show the First winter areas, for ease of reference. One down by Killyea, a couple more just north east of Rumania as the zone extends westward, then one up north. It makes it easy to mentally draw the lines.

When you mouse over a hex the popup will show the X,Y coordinates of that hex.
