Gotta love the P-38 Lightning. Its the first Allied aircraft in the GC that I have actual confidence in.

What I love is when a squadron that has been doing low level strafing in a P-39 upgrades to a P-38. All of a sudden you've got a group with 85+ experience flying very dangerous long-range aircraft.
I love it when a plan comes together.

I went for the Wirraway.

I voted the P39. Just so that it would get 1 vote. She was certainly a nice looking plane, even if a pig in combat. If they'd left in the turbosupercharger, she'd have been Hells Bells!

Othewrise, give me the F4U.
