Thank you VERY much! I always stare at these wonderful insignia and rotating aircraft markings with envy and
cannot get myself to try it out.

They are absolutely beautiful. I think I will invest some time there this weekend.

It doesn't take long to add these, a couple of new folders, and that's it.[;)]

The rotating art just unzips into the Art Folder.
Tops and sides overwrite the originals in the art folder.

Every time I read an AAR, I can't believe these aren't being used by gamers.[:D]

THESE ARE FREE!!!

BTW, check out BigB's ship side replacements located in the locked out art thread link.
These are awesome...
These do overwrite the originals.

Although it has been said many times before, to Halsey and all who have contributed to these wonderful free art add-ons, I sincerely thankyou. They add to the games immersion, are a help for people who remember symbols more than numbers, and to top it all....they look FANTASTIC!!

It really should be stickied ( I don't think stickied is really a word?) into the above forum.

And I truly appreciate your support, gracias amigo![&o]

Quite a few of the symbols for basic LCU's were used so as to be able to recognize them at a glance while scrolling the LCU listing.
Speeds up play, as you don't have to actually read the LCU's characteristic table.
AV support, BF's some engs, some flak and others were done this way on purpose, just for this reason.
It was Les's idea, and it was brilliant.[;)]

The only sticky is the locked out art link thread in the design and mod forum.[;)]

My goal is to get these out to the most players that I can.
Even if I have to drag them kicking and screaming all the way.
It is the 21st century, after all....[:D]

Halsey, Reg, et al:
Thks for your work on this. Experienced the first example of the rotating air
art at work when I hit 6/42 in my campaign game. Truly remarkable. Also, Big B rotating
ship art has added a lot.
The unit symbols, etc., make the units seem more real.

Thx!

I got a question: What is the LandingCraftMaster? Is it simply additional LC insignia or is it a naval term I don´t know?

Originally Les added some generic insignia for landing craft.

If you have the files "with landing craft", they have been updated.

The extra files overloaded my google site size requirement, so I had to cut them from the ship insignia download.[:D]
So, I just nenamed the zips to show that the insignia excluded them.

Be sure to DL the latest Allied rotating art, lots of goodies added in recently.[;)]

Page 14, but only DL the LCM and LST zips.
2/3rds of the way down, by Les Baker.

All the others are already included on my DL site.

It's like the release version over the years of different Windows operating systems. "Oh, those lovely, desirable things? Those were the demo version."

Please let me not be misunderstood. The emblems are wonderful. Do the sets shown just 'rotate through whatever units are being viewed?
