Why no search option for a Nell Air Group?

Why is there no option to set a percentage of this air group to search?

maybe because you're flying night operations?

Some missions are not available during night operations. In this case, you are limited to the mission options shown.

Night Search missions are available for Patrol groups

This is no bug. There was a problem with planes having ground radar but that was earmarked by michaelm quite some time ago for fixing.
