PDU ON
historical first turn OFF
Dec 7 surprise ON
reliable USN torps OFF
realistic R&D OFF
no unit withdrawels OFF

combat reports ON

facilities expand OFF
auto upgrade ships and airgroups OFF
auto air and ground replacements OFF

turn cycle 1 TURN

Im a history buff and aim for a historically plausible game, im easy to communicate with if something comes up in the game.

I can do atleast 4 turns a week, sometimes it could be 14, but real life comes first and this should be fun and a long journey anyways.

A question. You want a historically plausible game, but you want Realistic R&D off? Doesn't quite compute.
I think that the two obligations you have are to be good at what you do and then to pass on your knowledge to a younger person

It is not there to get jets in the air and not even a big issue for me. Im willing to turn it ON if it is the only thing holding back a good opponent.

Only played the AI, but winning most battles and reading these forums for couple of years so not an expert.
Im not sure what would be an ideal opponent, this is the game that im going to learn the most from.
Someone who would be nice to have beer with is the main point, this is fun after all.[:)]

For all his bluster, it is the sad province of man that he cannot choose his triumph, he can only choose how he will stand when the call of destiny comes, hoping that he will have the courage to answer
