N00b needs help: General Confusion

Post by badkarma »

Two questions:

1.)

I assume some of my bases are the places where my supplies originate (and thus do not need to be supplied themselves)? As the allies, it looks like Brisbane and Noumea are in this category, is that correct? Are there any others?

2.)

Some of the icons for my ground troops are grayed out. In looking at the forces in the area, it seems to me that the only problem is insufficient support. Is that what this indicates? If that’s the case, what does it mean when an air units icon goes gray? When I cycle through the air units at the location where I’ve seen this, they seem to have sufficient support, supplies, morale, and so on.

TIA for any help…

1. That's correct, Tuk is the base where they originate for the japanese. From there you can distrubite them to other bases (barges hubs, airtransport, TF's with transport missions etc)

2. not sure what you mean here. You mean certain options, such as: Order shock attack etc?

Sorry for not being clear...

Please see the attached JPG. In it, Cairns has a bright green airfield and Port Moresby does not. This is what I'm talking about (the same happens for ground icons too).

badkarma,

:) The darker the color the stonger the force there. See section 6.1 page 18 for more info.
