here's the op plan we've been given. Course we know that plans never last once the shooting starts. too late to turn back now. From the intel we've been given, we'll be outnumbered but the enemy is poorly organized.......so they say....500 pts gets us a decisive victory, 350 for a marginal...........to be continued.

The Landings

the 5th got hit pretty hard during landing, alot of disruption, unit dispersal, and hits.
18th and Imperial Guards got off alot easier, especially the guards.

Still on plan, my units recovering. The 5th still has alot of units dispersed. The Guards got the lightest resistance.

Tracking the 5th and the Guards... Had to alter the plan for the 5th, some units are still dispersed and resistance has been tougher in there area. Going to try to slide some of there units south and then move towards Singapore. Guards encountering little to no resistance, one unit scouting into the city area.

VP taken, Secure the area and then it's Decision time, take the 18th toward northern VP's or Go south. Last VP taken gives me 400 of 500 required for a decisive victory.

Good game Budd! Your AAR is very much appreciated. It takes a lot of work to put one together. Thanks!

Thx guys
I enjoy doing the AAR's they keep me in the game and i can look back and pick out my mistakes.
When i'm interested in a game they are a big selling point to me, in fact i usually read most of the AAR's in the matrix forums even if it isn't a game i'm not looking to buy.

This scenario is so far easier than expected, got enough points for a decisive victory and its only Feb 10th. The briefing mentioned being outnumbered but so far that hasn't been the case, I would have done the landings different, but expected to be outnumbered more, so i concentrated my landings. Seen alot of movement of enemy units in the north, but could be just the same units go back and forth. I guess to simulate the shape of the enemy troops not alot have really been in high fort levels. I do wish you could see the battlefield and all the enemy units after the battle. I have plenty of time left to get the northern VP's, so were going to find out about enemy numbers up north. To be continued.

This scenario is so far easier than expected,

Historically the Japanese won fairly easily. Try it from the other side.......

I have been a tester on a few games but not this game.

Usually testers concentrate on 1 or 2 scenarios due to time constraints. And usually there is not enough time to play any scenario right through to the end.

Each scenario should come in 3 versions. The only difference between the 3 is the points for victory locations. The 3 versions would have to be tested from start to finsh by 3 or more testers. The 3 versions would be:

Human Allied v Computer Axis
Human Axis v Computer Allies
Human v Human (PBEM)
