Update Problem

After some time, and a computer upgrade, I decided to re-install WitPAE. I reinstalled the game, which runs fine. I downloaded the latest update (1108r9), and unzipped it. My problem is running the exe. My new rig is loaded with Windows 7. I've tried executing the program as Administrator, and in Windows XP SP2 Mode, but no joy. I'm sure there's a simple fix, but I'm not savvy enough to figure it out.....



Someone help?

I use Win 7 (64-bit) and don't have any trouble. Don't even need to run the patch in Compatibility mode.

Try downloading the patch again. The only times I have seen that message or lack of program icon is when down load was bad.

BTW, the Matrix download for R9 is a EXE file, not a ZIP. ftp://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/WarInTheP ... 1108r9.exe
