QUESTION ON PRODUCTION FORMULAE

Post by RedLancer »

I am currently re-working German vehicle production and have a question on the relationship between Build Limit, Build Locations and Factory Capacity.

I am aware that each vehicle has a Build Cost, a Maximum Build Limit and an Expansion Rate.
Production can take place at a number of locations where I believe that ultimately for any given type Vehs produced per turn = Max Build limit x Number of locations.

I also know that Locations have a Factory Capacity (2nd Column in Locations Tab).

Am I right in thinking that the factory capacity is the initial build limit? Does the factory expand by the expansion rate until the max build limit is reached? What is the precise relationship between them? (ie. what does expansion rate mean?)

Thanks....

Expansion rate specifies how much factory capacity will grow until it reaches a build limit. If set to zero, there will be a random roll used.

Thanks Pavel - so if I set the expansion rate to 1 does that mean the capacity will increase by 1 per turn until the maximum rate is reached?
