Russian Corp HQs

A dumb question which I know people have asked before.
When do the Russian corps HQs disappear and what happens to the support units they contain and to the ground units attached to them?

Not sure "when" precisely.
Bodies from the inherent TOE are returned directly to the pool (not to higher HQs).
SUs assigned to the HQ are immediately moved to the superior HQ directly above the Corps HQ.

Most of them disappear pretty early on, about turns 4 to 6 I think.
Cavalry and airbourne corps don't seem to get auto disbanded and are useful.
