High Fidelity Jap #17

Post by Luskan »

Have just finished my first head to head with human opponent (he wasn't a UV fan - so he didn't fight that hard). As a result I'm looking for some mean-*** Jap player to try and wallop me.

Ready for my first PBEM. Be gentle!
I'm the US, and am looking for a moderately experienced (not too green, not to elite - just right ;) ) Jap player to play Scn #17, fog on (of course), allied damage control on, jap sub doctrine on or off (don't mind), 1 day turns.

Am a 4th year uni student so I have LOTS of time to return turns (I usually get an hour of UV in every lunch and 2 or 3 every night, so a minimum of 2 turns a day sort of thing I guess?). Will also be 100% exclusive to this PBEM game (more than one at a time gets confusing for me).

Just to clarify: NO REWIND, and I'll play until the bitter end is completely unavoidable (no surrenders in at least the first 18-22 months). :D

Luskan,

Is this to stick it up those who suggested in a certain thread of yours that you might be a bit of a AI girlie?:D

I'd volunteer but I'm concerned that if I spent any more time on UV, I'd fail my course.

P.S. If you want someone to play whose gentle, don't pick Raverdave, he's a bastard.:p

Hehe, the AI has learnt to fear me ;)

Time some humans did too! (No uni stuff due for 6 weeks - so this means war!)

I'll Give It A Shot

I've yet to play the game as the Japanese, but will give #17 a shot. All options historical. There seems to be a prevailing belief that the Japanese cannot win without hypothetical advanteges. I will test this theory for awhile. I think they can win given historical parameters. Let me know if you agree.

How can I be the bastard when you are the one who has sunk all my carriers?

Never argue with an idiot, he will only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
