Empires in Arms is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. Empires in Arms is a seven player game of grand strategy set during the Napoleonic period of 1805-1815. The unit scale is corps level with full diplomatic options

upgrade path

I have the CD for version 1.0.0 I would like to load EiA on a new laptop. Anyone out there know what upgrades I have to download to do this?

All you need with the fresh install is the official v1.08.07 comprehensive standalone patch. Enjoy!

I saw here that you needed 1.06.03 before 1.08.07? is that right?

No, the latest official patch is now standalone comprehensive, no need for the other patches anymore. AFAIK it is working fine, as far as upgrade goes.
