Berserk fire range. Sorry, not a bug !

Hi.
Played a game yesterday.
My opponent had one of it's lmg going berserk.
After this, he could fire at one of my units two hexes away.
In the board game, berserk have a range of one.
Is it different here or is it a bug ?
Be careful with a sleeping bear ;-)

Just realise he made a long range attack !
