Time and Message Level

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Time and Message Level

Post by MarkFroio »

In the BTR readme file that can be found in "The War Room" section of this forum, there is a paragraph that reads "When you launch the raid, set time to 1 and messages to 3... Don't ever change the time from 1 or the damage, etc. won't work right...." Is this still the case? Is it really true that if you have the time set to 2 or 3 the game doesn't keep score properly?

Thanks.

who said that?

there was a problem on speed 8 in the original game, where escorts and following units would not join a raid, but not aware of any issues like that...

Sorry, it's the attached to the last post at this link. tm.asp?m=2315172

It's in the ""Helpful Posts" thread, not the "War Room" thread. I think it is the read me text of the original game.

I only ask because we played a one month game, and we had the time at 1. It didn't seem like the Allied score was high enough at the end of the game.
