Quick question about the JagdTiger

Quick question about the JagdTiger

With a superior (on paper at least) gun compared to the JagdPanther, why does the JT have a lower hard attack value than the JP?
Due to the longer reload time needed for the JT?

Good question, been wondering the same. It has a lower hard attack than the Tiger 2, why put the bigger gun on it?

The HE round had the power, to take out Sherman at over 1,500 yards. Let alone the AP round.

It was comparable or better than Tiger 2's long 88 so it should at least have the same penetration but if they did give it the proper penetration values, i think i might never be able to destroy it. I'm already worried the movement, ammo and ground defense is too high for such a slow heavy beast.
