no radio activity!

I've got to September 44 in the 500 turn campaign as Luftwaffe and all the England theater allied radio activity has suddenly stopped! The raids just appear without warning and the defenders are still at 63 minutes alert stage, very frustrating. Does anyone know if this is due to advancements in allied jamming, radio silence or is it just a bug in the game? Italian theater radio activity is still normal.

I've not played that far into the game but historically there was no sudden introduction of complete radio silence (and in only one theatre). Sounds like a bug. Can you restore to a saved game?
