WITP-AE PBEM help

Hi,

I've had AE for a while but only recently joined the forum. I'm currently into my 2nd Ironman game against the Japanese AI (stopped 1st game in late 1944 after taking Formosa and Okinawa). How much should I play against the AI before trying PBEM? I'm anxious to get into PBEM but don't want to be a walkover for Japan.

1 thing is certain in PBEM. If you consider and plan for 100 different things your opponent could do it is a given that it will be thing 101.
