Transport planes for the soviets

The development team behind the award-winning games Decisive Campaigns: From Warsaw To Paris and Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive year and theater of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue simulates the German drive to Stalingrad and into the Caucasus of the summer of 1942, as well as its May preludes (2nd Kharkov offensive, Operation Trappenjagd) and also the Soviet winter counter-offensive (Operation Uranus) that ended with the encirclement of 6th Army in Stalingrad and the destruction of the axis minor armies. With many improvements including the PBEM++ system, this is a release to watch for wargamers!

Transport planes for the soviets

Post by bwheatley »

Why not?

What about the U-2, C-47 (lend lease in early 43), Li-2, yak-6 (dec 42).

Just wondering why it was denied to the old soviets. :) I know i can mod the scen to add them but i'm curious about the thought behind it.

And resupply. Supposedly those little biplanes used to haul gasoline up to the deepest penetrators.

Yea that is what i was really thinking about since you don't have any paratroopers as the soviets just being able to try to resupply pockets. ;) the thing i love about AT/DC is that you have the flexibility that you didn't get with Wite. Treating players like they get a chance to play history their way (with-in reason) instead of being on rails and just having to survive longer.
