AOL users out there (having problems)?

Post by davewolf »

Looking for experiences of AOL users playing WIR by mail.

Does anyone have problems concerning corrupt reports in received turns or something similar (or some completely different problems caused by the AOL software)?

I just try to figure out IF that report problem might be caused by the AOL software or not. I shouldn't forget to describe the problem itself... : some reports are just blank, some show corrupted data (cryptic messages), only a few are correct.

Didn't have that problem before. It's surely not caused by the OS (Win 98), nor by the Zip program, which works fine with every other opponent not using AOL.

Is there a connection? Experiences?
Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men.

davewolf,

Their service, much like their stock, is falling off. I have a few freinds who use aol as thier ISP and they all hate it now.

I hate it too. Unfortunately the choice isn't up to me here. ;)
