Post by dlth »

Hi there, I just installed pacific war and war in russia on my set, both run fine but i can't see my mouse cursor in the game although the screen responds to the mouse, anyone has any ideas on how to fix this? This is a big problem as I can't access the utility and control menu properly.

set specs:
Pen IV 1.9MHz
OS: Win XP home
ram: 256MB
video: Nvdia Gerforce 2 64MB ram

right click on pac.exe, select properties. select the misc tab, and see if mouse "exclusive mode" is checked. If it is, uncheck it, if it isn't, check it. Also, in the screen tab, make sure that you are operating on the full window mode.

hope this helps.

Which control device are you using? My system and OS are approximately the same as yours, and I have no problem (I am using the basic PS-2 mouse).

Also, look through the mouse properties in your control panel to see if anything looks out of whack there.

Good luck. If all else fails, uninstall, reboot clean, and re-install (jeez, I'm such a sophisticated advisor ...)
Put my faith in the people
And the people let me down.
So, I turned the other way,
And I carry on anyhow.
