Hmm that was a hard choice, I wanted to avoid picking something just cause I liked the tune only.

I picked the KV Tanker one partially because I like their armour.

Another nice choice might have been "Burning Down the House" (Talking Heads?). Because I love to drop 8 inch artillery on buildings.
I LIKE that my life bothers them,
Why should I be the only one bothered by it eh.

AC/DC and The Police :D

Keeping in spirit, here's a few suggestions:

Gabrielle - Out of Reach / Played by German artillery crews

Pet Shop Boys - Go West /popular in the Red Army, both as inspiration and a message to the Krauts.

Black Sabbath - Iron Man /heard frequently from tanks all around the eastern front. The American equivalent must have been "Paper Boy" or something. :D :D :D

"Burning Down The House" was an alternate for the engineer units, but since it only really applied to FT engineers I passed it up.

My personal favorite is the C.W. McCall tune for the recon units. If you've never heard the song "Black Bear Road" you owe it to yourself to find a copy. That and "Wolf Creek Pass" which my late hunting/fishing buddy and I made into our traditional "road trip" song when we headed out to the back country for some R&R. Got so we could sing the entire song, him the low parts, me the high parts, perfectly. Dam*...I miss that man... Been 13 years now since he passed and I still find myself at times expecting him to walk in the door.
