Hi All,

This site has several resources relating to the Civil War Perseus Collection.
The areas of interest to us would be under the "Collections/Text" tab and then the "Richmond Times Dispatch" link and the "19th Century American" link
The Times Dispatch reprints newspapers from 1861 - 1862
The 19th Century American has a fairly large number of works covering different aspects from biographies, unit histories, personal corrospondance, and accounts of the war and battles.
The only draw back is that it appear to be web based only at this time, i.e. you cannot down load the works or purchase a cd of the works; but cut and past does work.
