The Agony of Doom

Post by Kevlarsoul1 »

How do you get a Decisive Victory in "The Agony of Doom" scenario? I have played it like 28 times and it always ends in a DRAW no matter what I do, even if the germans are mostly dead.
Same thing happens in the Mines and Bunkers under fire tutorial.
Is this game unbeatable or what?

I forgott to mention, I am new at wargaming therefore I stink at playing.

How do you take out infantry in high altitudes?
How do you take out AT guns?
Are tanks any good inside towns?
In case of no FO, who is best to call artillery with?

My guess would be you're either taking too many losses, or taking too long to achieve a victory.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'infantry at high altitudes'.

AT guns are best taken out by infantry squads or MMG/HMGs.

Tanks should not be inside towns unless accompanied by infantry.

If no FO is available, try your HQ (A0) unit. Any unit designated as 'recon' would also be a good alternative.

Oh, almost forgot: you should try posting this on the 'SPWAW Training Center' forum...you'll get alot more responses there. Most of the people in here are scenario & map designers...they're OK folks, but they tend to mumble and grumble alot. :D
