pilot reserves DBB C

Either I hadn't noticed this before, or it hasn't happened when I've played stock. Experienced pilots I put in the general reserve do no show up when I request a veteran. They do show being in the reserve, is there a delay I wasn't aware of? I put Boyington in reserve on 12/8/41 and it's now 12/20 and no sign of him. That's just one case.

There has always been a delay in pilots moving to and from the reserve. Pilots only show up at their intended destination when the delay has dropped to 7 days. When they appear the actual delay period is then shown against their name in the due column which is the first column.

i play exclusively w/ the betas, & the 'get pilots' buttons nearly always allows the instantaneous xfer of pilots to/from group/reserve-pool, if you use the 'xfer 5/10 pilots' buttons. ~90% of pilots added/removed to/from the groups/pools will be available for immediate re-assignment.

it's only when i target an individual pilot for transfer or use the 'xfer 1 pilot' button, that i get a 'reliably random' delay in that pilot's arrival date.

another thing that occurs to me, i vaguely recall that there are 2 Boyington pilots, 1 is USA & t'other is USMC. so mebbe if you xferred him to reserve from one, he might be available now, but will never be available to a different branch-of-service?

It can take 30-60 days for him to appear...distance from USA has big effect on pilot delay.
