I get the impression things are getting tough ? When you need a hint of breast to sell something it smacks of desperation. Is the community really that small these days that it cant support your product?

Yes, I know... so was my post - but I am genuinely interested if things are getting tougher for such niche products - or whether its the same as always but just trying to push things a bit wider.

Wargaming is a niche market de facto... and yes it really helps getting some attention for wargames, in general we don`t get a lot of attention by the mass market.

And be honest "Lady Kitch" looks great. ;-)

It certainly wouldn't go down well with the PC crowd over at Rock paper Shotgun, they can get quite irate when women are scantly dressed to sell things or are represented in game waring hardly anything (RPG's seem to be the worse for that). Doesn't bother me at all, but some maybe offended.

but some maybe offended.

I'm so offended I might have to buy the game and a purchase from Victoria's Secret as well. She looks like she could use a little support.

As I said it doesn't bother me..but I do read alot of comments over at RPS moaning about this kind of thing and games. I'd always give it some thought if I was a developer just in case.

Something tells me that the people that would find that poster offensive are not the target market of C:TGW. I am deeply offended by all the piddly crap that so many people get offended over.

I agree with everything your saying. Political correctness can go way to far...but I was just pointing out that I've seen a fair few over at RPS moan about this sort of thing more than you'd imagine..and being a developer you have to be careful what you do..even if they are moaning over nothing...so really abit of advise..

As an artist one sometimes needs some variation on the endless tanks, soldiers and hexagonal shapes [;)]

I studied Advertising and got told "bad advertisement is still advertisement" so perhaps a little whining here and there might be ok? [;)]

Wargamers bitching and moaning over nothing? Why that's unheard of! [X(]

LOL, Bloody Grognards... wargamers, the most critical, bitching and moaning crowd we have to please... but if they do like a game, passionate as watch dogs. Some things never change. ;-)

Whine, moan and groan. My God, don't be a prude. I LOVE it.
