Can't Start TOAWIII

Hello,

I have Window XP and when I run the game I get as far as Scenario Selection and I get a message that goes something like:

"There are not enough free system resources to continue the game"
Error 9 (failed with error 8...

I have plenty of HD space (7+G).

Make sure you're running latest version (v3.4)- from manual (p152), "Memory management issues with previous versions of TOAW under Windows XP
have been solved. This now allows scenario dumping in the editor that caused previous versions to crash when running Windows XP.".

That's other than the usual- try closing other apps etc... to free up memory.

If this doesn't work, post again- someone here will run with it to resolution.

What are your system specs? Also try the other .EXE for AMD and older Athlon CPU.
