LSA with GJS mod campaign

Post by Monty Returns »

cathartes asked me if I felt like it to post about our test campaign. I'm Germans he is British and Canadians.

Right now I don't have a lot of men in my battlegroups, but I will be getting strong ones soon and I can attack and drive him off the beaches. Here is a sample of one of my teams at Gold.

A long morning turn for the Germans. We held our ground, and made the enemy pay. Now we will beat them back to Britain.

ok, here you go. I was beaten badly, and lost two tanks right away attacking the beach. There was a truce after one minute. Very frustrating.

June 6, pm turn. I attack with KG Oppeln. I have lots of tanks and powerful infantry. Cathartes is only in one small corner of the map.

Right away a tank gets tracked after I move over a hedge corner. I attacked but lost another tank to an anti-tank gun in a hedge. I didn't see any tanks and thought he had some. I can kick him off next turn.

Another battle for Bieville. I planned an attack, massing tanks and men mostly to the north of Cathartes entry point. I killed a lot of his men, but met heavy resistance. I lost three tanks and one got immobilized by an air attack, and it got counted as a loss. He had tanks and an anti tank gun basically waiting around. He did attack to the south, but I had one short-barrel tank that blew up one of his tanks and he retreated from there.
