game crash at the end of the western approach

At the end of "the western approach" scenario, the game allways crash with a long exception window.

Thank you for the report. This seems to be a security issue -- the game is trying to write a victory log in the (My)Documents/Western Civilization Software... directory but has been denied permission by your operating system. I can try to fix the crash by catching this error and handling it more gracefully, but the game won't be able to write the victory log unless it has permission to write in this location. I'd suggest changing your security settings and/or running "Conflict of Heroes" with Administrator privileges to try to get the victory log to work properly.

I am having a similar issue - same scenario, and in the latter half of the firefight, the game crashed and throws and exception. I tried to attach the image for you to review.
