I was just wondering if this should be possible, note the date, also I managed to reach the opposite edge of the map by mid September and got complete victory. This was done not too long after the game came out.

I presume then it was before patches that changed

* how HQ build ups work (tethering their range closer to railhead)
* how captured supplies are handled
* how relinquished supplies are handled (when units are disbanded, etc)
* how aerial resupply works (tethering their range closer to railhead)
* reductions in efficacy of working FBDs together.

I would say try again, and try some people. The game has been altered significantly since release.
