Anyone here play World of Tanks?

FPS game.

Be kinda cool to get some guys together and possibly start a guild, WitE or something like that to promo this game some.

Fun game you could do between turns here to blow off steam.

Yes, it is arcade-ish on the surface, with health points, 3rd person view, etc. Yet I was very pleasantly surprised as to how much depth it actually offers. Random matches are a crap-shoot, but when teams work together an inferior force can defeat a superior enemy. There's isn't a "win" button nor any "pay to win" mechanisms. The "premium" tanks are so-so at best.

Great fun for the first three months. After that, infuriating. You won't have as fun a time with the higher tier vehicles as in order to succeed the game forces you to spend real cash. Losing a game in a tier 5 is much more manageable than in a tier 10 tank. Repair costs and ammo can chew up your reserve. It is even more painful if you use "gold rounds" for that extra punch. Never tried clan wars. IF you pick it up, play it for free and enjoy the low level battles without concern for the higher levels.

I have been playing it but stopped year ago. Actually it is fun, but do not like that AFV from various states are fighting in the same team.

Play it regularly, although do not see myself leaving my current clan as I've been here for such a long time and enjoy playing with the people there.
Have to say though, that the constant "Germans were bad, so they should not have good tanks"-thinking WG is using is starting to piss me off somewhat, so not sure how much longer I will keep playing. Guess I'll stop when my JagdTiger is hit by a nerf...

I do however not agree with H_Balck, it is very doably to make a surplus with a T8 tank (T10 is currently max), but it requires you to know what you are doing. With a premium account even T10 tanks will usually net you some credits. But, I will also say, that for a "free" game, I've never spent so much money on a game before hehe.
But that is mainly due to ClanWars where gold ammo is required. Not so for random matches.

So, I agree with Pelton, if you have some spare time, and want to blow something up, nothing feels better than jumping into your trusted PzIV and blow holes in a T-34 (well, with the exception of crushing pesky auto-cannon French tanks with your so called obsolete Maus that is [:D])

Kinda fun to sit down and just kill something after playing wite for 4 or 5 hrs.

Pelton I love it and am somewhat obsessed with it. I've given up on WitE and am play testing WitW with the hope of being a part of the fix for WitE II. If you ever put a clan together I'd love to be a part. Currently grinding for my "BatChat"!
