Tutorials, Manuals ?

Achtung Panzer:Operation Star is an Eastern Front wargame with solid graphics and sprawling battlefields that really emphasize the scope of WWII tank combat. The gameplay is a remarkably realistic turn-based and real-time operational/tactical hybrid wargame that continues the series begun by the acclaimed Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943.

the manual request has been an on going thing...look here... http://graviteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=11044.0

The in game help will cover the basics. The pdf manual that comes with the game is old but some of the stuff is useful.there are useful threads on this forum and for the new features your going to have to look at the Graviteam site and this site also cover APOS.. http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/f ... _Sims.html

All i can say is the learning curve will take time but the game is worth it. Ask questions here and over at graviteam when you have them. Graviteam forum is the busier of the forums right now. Enjoy the game.

Forgot to mention that there are some youtube videos for APOS also that show some stuff.

Like Bud said the learning curve is steep but I find it well worth the effort. This is not a game that can be mastered in a weekend or a month for that matter.Unfortunately I doubt we will ever see a well written English manual for this game or a comprehensive tutorial. The Graviteam guys don't speak English and even if they were to write a manual it would be Google translated which is almost as bad as no manual.

I just don't see them forking out the money to find someone in Russia who reads and writes both Russian and English and knows how to write and edit a game manual then teach him/Her the game unless the sales for this game completely depend on it.

The game isn't very difficult to learn especially if you've played other RTS games like this that are similiar.I used to play Combat Mission and found it easier to learn than that game(With/without a manual).

With that said, there is no doubt in my mind that this game isn't for everybody. You either like the game or you don't.I'm not here to convince people to play or buy the game, but if you have an interest and are willing to learn and spend the time it takes to learn it there are plenty of people on the Graviteam forum who will be more than willing to try and answer any questions you have concerning the game.

I personally enjoy the game and my only problems stem from the fact that Graviteam doesn't plan on doing any WW2 Westfront DLCs.At least not anytime in the near future that is.FB is working on a Tunisia 42 project that looks interesting and hopefully if it does well Graviteam may decide to support his efforts more with that Theatre of WW2 and maybe do some other Westfront themed games.
