Multi-multi-player?

Post by GreyWolf16 »

I'm REALLY starting to like this game!

(Oh how I wish that there were a few options such as a move take-back option and an option to slow down the action phase so that you have time to see what's happening but still...)

Has anyone attempted to play the game as a multi-sided PBEM game? Is that possible or do you have to use the Slitherine Server?

In other words - I would like to play England, let me friend Manny be France and go at it against Moe and Jack as Germany and Austria...something like that. I would order my pieces around and then pass the turn to France and wait for the game to come back again. I guess that wouldn't work since only one side would ultimately see the results sequence... Anyone try to play with this idea?

There are only 2 sides in the game and no way to split them so it's not possible unfortunately. However PBEM2++ has support for multiple sides and games coming out after summer 2013 will be able to make use of this.
