US Play

Post by kentcol »

Posting here because AEGOD won't let me post there for some reason though I have all their games and have been on the forum forever. Anyway, playing as US, how do I go about getting territory from the Indians? Is the only way by going to war with them?

Not completely sure but I think you need to use the colonial part of the game. So build up colonial presence (CP) with tradeposts/forts/bribes etc and at some stage the province/region will flip to your control. Be aware that if a war breaks out it will drag on beyond that stage though as wars between major nations and tribal nations are hard to end. Sooner or later, an event will fire that ends it though (but I have had some such wars last under 6 months and others drag on for years). These wars are often triggered by you exerted colonial pressure so are hard to avoid and one reason not to overextend.
